Flak Sack Coalition Gets Inducted into Honeywell's Technology Museum
Honestly, short of being dug up 1,000 years after my death, I never thought I would ever have anything in any museum anywhere. I guess I was wrong. This month, Honeywell placed our Flak Sack Coalition into their Innovation & Technology museum just steps from the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. The textile (FLAKnit) used in the Flak Sack Coalition was developed for us by the Honeywell Spectra engineers and the textile mad scientists at Tuff-N-Lite. Together, we created a fabric and a product unlike anything that has ever been created -- unique enough to capture the attention of Honeywell management. These are guys that make thermostats, turbos, and missile control systems, and they were impressed by us...? I couldn't be prouder and happier to have Honeywell and Tuff-N-Lite as part of our team. We are humbled by this partnership, and we will continue to push our team to push the envelope to develop crazy new materials and products for you guys.
